Soldier Field is the oldest stadium in the National Football League and has perhaps the most unique exterior of all 30 NFL stadiums. A Sunday visit to one of America’s most historic sports stadiums, in one of America’s most exciting cities, will provide an NFL experience you won’t soon forget. Our staff wanted to provide a thorough breakdown of the Soldier Field seating chart to help football fans decide where to sit before purchasing their Chicago Bears tickets.

Where To Sit At Soldier Field

Soldier Field is one of the smallest stadiums in the National Football League, and is a fairly easy stadium to navigate for first time visitors. The core seating areas include the 100 level (lower level), 200 level, 300 level, and grandstand level (400 level). We’ll begin by discussing the 100 level seats.

100 Level

The 100 level seats at Soldier Field consist of sections 101 through 155. The rows for most lower level sections are numbered 1 through 19. Sections 148 and 155 in the north end zone are designated as alcohol free sections.

The Chicago Bears sideline is located in front of sections 136 and 138. The visiting team’s sideline is located in front of sections 108 and 110. The Chicago Bears' player tunnel is located adjacent to section 140. The visiting team's tunnel at Soldier Field is located adjacent to section 101.

200 Level

The 200 level seats at Soldier Field consist of sections 202 through 256. Most sections on the 200 level will have between 19 and 27 rows of seats, beginning with row 1. Sections 228 through 246 on the 200 level are also known as the "media deck seats"; these sections will have between 9 and 12 rows of seats. These sections are called the media deck seats because they're located in close proximity to where the mediapersonalities that cover the Chicago Bears sit.

Fans seated in sections 202 through 216 will have access to the United Club (see below).

300 Level

The 300 level seats at Soldier Field consist of sections 301 through 356. The rows for most 300 level sections will be numbered either 1 through 15 or 1 through 18. Football fans seated in sections 301 through 317 will have access to the United Club (see below).

Grandstand Level (400 Level)

The grandstand level seats at Soldier Field consist of sections 427 through 447. The number of rows for the grandstand level sections will greatly vary, but will begin with row 1 and go no higher than row 37.

Soldier Field’s grandstand level offers the most affordable tickets for Chicago Bears home games.

United Club

The United Club is an exclusive club on Soldier Field’s east side. The United Club seats consist of sections 202 through 216, and sections 301 through 317. For sections 202 through 216, the rows for most sections are numbered 1 through 19. For sections 301 through 317, the rows for most sections are numbered 1 through 18. The United Club provides football fans with the following perks.

  • Access to climate-controlled indoor lounges equipped with flat-screen HD televisions
  • Local food and drink options
  • Concierge service
  • Private entrances and restrooms
  • Comfortable 21 inch seats with additional leg room
  • Parking passes provided for eligible accounts (season ticket holders only)

Touchdown Club

The Touchdown Club seats are located in row 1 of Soldier Field’s south end zone. The Touchdown Club provides football fans with access to the United Club, and all of its amenities.

Sideline Club

The Sideline Club seats are located in row A of sections 103 and 104. The Sideline Club provides football fans with access to the United Club, and all of its amenities.

The Midway

The Midway is a hospitality area located on Soldier Field’s mezzanine level behind sections 136 and 138. The Midway offers football fans access to a climate-controlled sports bar setting equipped with four private bars, bar and lounge seating, private restrooms, a live DJ, and specialty food stations.

Access to The Midway is sold via individual and full season passes using the official Chicago Bears mobile app.

Sky Deck

The Sky Deck is a standing room only area located in section 357, and provides guests with the following perks.

  • Panoramic views of downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan
  • Bar top seating with an excellent view of the field from above the north end zone
  • Can be rented out by private groups
  • $20 in Bears Bucks included with each ticket

Luxury Suites

Executive Suites

Soldier Field offers 133 suites spanning multiple levels on the stadium’s east side. Soldier Field’s Executive Suites can be leased for individual games, partial season, or an entire season. The perks for the Executive Suites at Soldier Field include the following.
