REGISTRATION & MEMBERSHIP FAQ
What is an All- Access Subscription?
An All-Access Subscription to The Gazette includes newspaper home delivery service and unlimited access to gazette.com, The Gazette's apps for the iPad, iPhone and Android.
If you are a current newspaper subscriber, you already have an All-Access Subscription. To activate your account and gain access, simply visit http://secure.gazette.com/activate. If you are not a current newspaper subscriber and want a Digital Subscription, it is available for just $1.99 per week.
What does this mean for current newspaper subscribers?
Our current newspaper subscribers are already Members Subscribers. That means you will continue to receive full, unlimited access to all the content we provide. In addition to your newspaper delivery, your news will be updated throughout the day and available digitally on your computer, smartphone and tablet. Because everyone’s needs are different, we also offer a subscription to just our digital products. This option includes unlimited access to news stories, photos, and more on smartphones, tablets and our website. For those who are not currently subscribing, access to premium Gazette produced stories and information will be limited.
If I don’t sign up for an All-Access or a Digital Subscription, will I be able to read anything on Gazette.com?
Yes. Non-subscribers can read all national and international articles from syndicated sources, section front headlines and short summaries, as well as a limited number of Gazette produced stories. Access to classified advertising including auto, real estate and employment is open to everyone. As the most-trusted local news source, we take very seriously our responsibility to provide public safety information, so urgent news bulletins will be free to all. Also, some important breaking news stories and features will be available without a subscription (but only for a limited time).
The All- Access Subscription is the best option to receive the full stories you want, when and where you want them.
I’m a print subscriber. Do I automatically get access to everything online?
Yes, once you activate your All-Access Subscription at gazette.com/activate, you will get unlimited access to gazette.com, The Gazette apps for iPad, iPhone and Android plus the electronic newspaper (digital replica).
How do I change my username?
Your username is your email address. To update your email address, visit gazette.com and go to gazette.com/settings.
Why am I seeing advertisem*nts on the gazette mobile and tablet app’s after buying a digital or All-Access subscription?
Ads are an important part of our product offering. Our readers look to us to provide this type of content in addition to news and other information.
Do I need a subscription to make a comment on a news story?
The ability to comment on a story is reserved for registered users and subscribers. We encourage our users to engage in meaningful and civil dialogue that help them learn more about an issue, while also expressing their own ideas.
I don’t want a newspaper delivered to my house. Can I just get a Digital Subscription?
Yes. In addition to the All-Access Subscription, we offer a digital package for $1.99 per week that allows access to gazette.com, The Gazette for the iPad and Kindle Fire apps and Gazette mobile iPhone and Android apps.
I still need help. Who can I talk to?
Please call 866-632-6397 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday,
6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Saturday,
and 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday & holidays,
and a customer service representative will be happy to assist you.
Why do I pay more for a digital only subscription versus a Sunday and digital subscription?
Our print editions are supported by our advertisers. Advertising provides some of the resource that allows us to cover all that is happening in our community every day. From print ads to inserts, advertising helps support unique in-depth coverage that readers have come to expect from The Gazette. Our new digital only subscription is void of much of that advertising, so we are able to offer a Digital plus Sunday newspaper all-access subscription for less.
Do I have to log into Gazette.com everyday

Yes. Your subscription log-in will allow access from all your digital devices. You may use any and all of your computers, smartphones or tablets to log in using the same account.
There are three people in my family. Can we all share one account?
Yes. You and two additional family members living in the same household may all share an account. Keep in mind, everyone who has access to a shared account also has the same access to all account and billing information including the shared ability to comment in online forums.
Can I share my log-in information with my friends?
No. Sharing account information will compromise your account security, including your billing information. Also, reader comments will be tied to your account, so you will want to manage your log-in information carefully. For more information, please review our Terms of Service.
